Our company and representative offices, hereinafter jointly referred to as "Tenet Marine Company", provide international crew and vessel management services, including but not limited to: crew management, full technical management of vessels, supervision of new ship construction, crew training and security, financing and administration of shipping and crewing, and offshore crewing.

IN GENERAL ON THIS SITE
This site only collects basic data for a few specific purposes, including:
- processing job applications for maritime crewing careers;
- general inquiries regarding our crew and vessel management services;
- general inquiries from partners and other users;
- standard statistical information about user activity on the site for analytical purposes to help improve the content and overall user experience on this site.
DURING THE HIRING / EMPLOYMENT PROCESS.
With respect to the hiring process, you are required to initially provide basic personal information to apply for a job, including your full name, phone number, email, title/position, nearest country where we have a presence, and a survey of how you found out about our company. This data is necessary so that we can process the request for its intended purpose, while fulfilling our legal obligations as a maritime employer to identify, qualify, and administer the hiring process. Subsequently, some of this data, mainly rank, place of hire and a survey on how you learned about our company, is also used for internal analytical purposes to help improve our services as a seafarer recruitment company and recruitment agency, and in general as crew and vessel managers, and to improve the overall user experience on this site.
You must also upload your resume to fill out an application of interest in working at sea. However, the site does NOT record or store the resume or any of the information contained therein, but sends it along with all other required data via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) email to the appropriate recruiting department for appropriate action. In turn, or even simultaneously, we also ask you to complete "Data processing consent form".
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT & PRIVACY OF DATA

Any personal data collected through this site or voluntarily provided by you to our company will only be processed by authorized staff and agents of the company for the purpose for which you provided it, lawfully and in accordance with the legal regulations in force in the jurisdiction in which the site is located and/or the nature of the request.

- providing additional information about our company and its crew and vessel management services, or as specifically requested;
- Providing access to the company's online portals, such as "Fleet", "Vacancies", and Administration of our site for internal operations, such as testing and troubleshooting, statistical analysis and general data analysis, research purposes to improve our site with respect to content, processes and overall user experience.
3. USES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
As an international crew and vessel management company, we may transfer certain personal data that we collect through this site, or that you voluntarily provide to the company, about European Union (EU) and non-EU data subjects to a country outside of the EU if necessary to fulfill a specific request and standard business operations and to comply with local legal requirements. For example, if a user is looking for a job and is located in Russia, our office in Russia must process this request in accordance with Russian law.
Therefore, the personal data we collect through this website and store may also be processed by our non-EU employees who work for us or for one of our suppliers. These employees may be involved, for example, in the process of hiring, performing contracts and administrative purposes with you, the data subject, providing support services, training, etc.

We will only process any special category personal information relating to you for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes, and to enable us to meet our legal obligations as a maritime employer and crew and vessel manager.
- The company follows procedures and technology to maintain the security of all personal data from the time it is collected until it is destroyed. Personal data will only be shared with a data processor if they agree to comply with these procedures and policies, maintaining data security, protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data.
5. SECURITY AND SAFETY OF DATA AND ITS STORAG
We will not keep personal data active longer than necessary for the purpose or purposes for which it was collected. We will take all reasonable steps to destroy all data from our website and other systems that are no longer required.
With respect to data processed outside of this site, we will retain the records of our employees for 5 years. As for information about potential employee applications, we will retain it for 12 months. After that period, the information will be encrypted and securely archived.

You voluntarily provide specific personal information through this site or directly to our company via email. In order to fulfill our obligation to respond and act upon such requests, the information must be shared with the appropriate company department/personnel or authorized agency.

9. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION / YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GDPR
In order to fulfill our statutory obligations as employers, personal information of family members may be required. For example, in order to make benefits and insurance payments to persons designated as an employee (seaman). We will not process, store, transmit, forward or use any personal data until we have received written consent from the designee.
Persons under the age of 14 are considered minors. In such cases, the designated legal guardian/parent must provide consent on their behalf.
If you believe that we may have collected personal information from a person under the appropriate age without proper consent, please notify us at operation@tenetmarine.com.ua and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and promptly resolve the matter.
The rights of the individual described in paragraph 9 apply to all family members whose data are on our records.
10. PERSONAL DATA – FAMILY MEMBERS / MINORS
In order to better understand user behavior and, in turn, improve their experience of our site, Tenet Marine Company's web server collects and records basic statistical information about site activity, such as the number of users visiting the site, the date, time and duration of visits, the pages viewed, the user's general location, the site link from which the user accessed the site, the type of Internet browser used, the type of device used to access the site, and other general statistical information.
